Sculley Golf Course and Driving Range is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Jackson, Tennessee.
Skyway opened in August 1950 & has remained open ever since. It was briefly closed in Dec. 1999-Apr. 2000 for remodeling when Dart Longeway took over ownership.The course was designed by Tom Sculley.
Sculley's Golf Course (Originally named "Skyway"). Tom & Virginia Sculley met while he was a pilot in the Air Force & she was an air traffic controller at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport. He hailed from NY, but Ginny wanted to live in Jackson, Tennessee, closer to her family. He was trying to find his niche & a relative suggested that he build a golf course because there wasn't a public course in Jackson. He sought feedback (via newspaper) from residents & received dozens of letters agreeing that the city needed it's own course.
This nine hole course is a challenge for all levels of golfer. Water hazards and trees coming into play throughout the entire course.
The course plays to 2,615 yards. Ladies play from the same tees as the men. Golf carts are available for rental and.
Greens fee are $8 for 9 holes and $16 for 18 holes.
